being a foster mom
* She is not a Mother who has mastered the art of parenting her own children so well that she has decided to share her great knowledge with the world and take on parenting other people's children.
* She may or may not drive like a spy after visitation to avoid detection or being followed.
(I'll leave that one up to you)
*She is not so organized that adding extra kids in the middle of the night (who have nothing) does not even rock her confidence.
*She is always ready to love a child in need.
*The court house is her least favorite place.
*She does not have any more hours in the day than anyone else.
*Her house is not always clean.
*She waits for the phone to ring for another placement, even though her home is already crazy; she knows their are so many children in need!
*She is not a short order cook.
*She is on a first name basis with every therapist, ER doctor, and pharmacist in the area.
*Bust most of all, she feels called to make a difference. It's not always easy, buts in the words of Dr. Seuss....
